Here are some of the highlights that you can choose from in order to close out the year in style!

The Diamond Pub Concert Hall is HUGE. If you don’t remember the building that Jillian’s used to be in a long time ago, it’s well over 20,000 sq ft and a super cool venue. For new year’s eve this year they have outdone themselves. For only $25 you get access to the entire building all night long, a champagne toast at midnight, an hors d’ouvres buffet from 8pm-11pm, drink specials all night, plus live music from: FLAW, The Villebillies, Elephant Room, Signal the Revolution, Naked Garden, Slinky Jenkins, and Bob Anonymous. The Galt House Hotel typically hosts 3 different parties on New Year’s Eve. This year is no different. Each party has different features for each type of party-goer, and there is also an option to visit multiple parties. Headliners Music Hall | WFPK’s New Year’s Eve Soul Revue | 1386 Lexington Rd
I did this party two years ago and it was a blast! It was not over-crowded, and the tickets are only $10-$15. This year the doors open at 8:00 pm, with a dance lesson at 8:30. DJs Matt Anthony and Woodrow on the Radio will begin their live broadcast at 9:00pm, live music from the Junkyard Dogs will begin at 10:30 pm, and there will be a balloon drop at midnight. 21c Atrium New Year’s Eve Bash | 21c Hotel and Proof on Main | 702 W Main St
The wildly exciting museum hotel in downtown Louisville, 21c, together with Louisville’s favorite in-house restaurant, Proof on Main, will host a new year’s eve bash in the atrium of the hotel. There will be DJs, dancing, champagne toast, a balloon drop, and the option of an elegant dinner at Proof on Main to start off the night. The Outlook’s Epic NYE Party | The Outlook Inn | 916 Baxter Ave
That’s right. This is not a typo. The Highlands’ favorite watering hole, which typically strays away from the New Year’s Eve party (in fact they are usually closed) decided to pull out all the stops this year and throw down! You must sign up for this party at the Outlook as spots are limited. $30 per person or $50 per couple will get you 3 drink tickets per person, hors d’ouvres, champagne toast, balloon drop, and jams by DJ David Boone. O’Shea’s New Year’s Eve Celebration | O’Shea’s Irish Pub & Patrick O’Shea’s | Highlands and Downtown
The well-known Irish Pub in the Highlands will be featuring a New York Strip Bordelaise and a Pork Chop with Guiness Demi-Glace (food separate from admission price) , 3 balloon drops, champagne toast at midnight, live music by Soul Bite at 10 pm, DJ Optimix at 11 pm, and a Genesis Diamonds giveaway all for only $10 at the door, starting at 8:00 pm. Patrick O’Shea’s downtown at Whiskey Row will be offering a VIP package $65 ticket including a four-course meal between 6:30 and 10 pm, unlimited house liquor and Bud Light Draft until 10:00 pm, 3 floors of entertainment, a reserved table for the entire evening, champagne toast, party favors, and giveaways!
